Tamandaré offers religious tourism the famous Church of São Benedito - 17th century, on Praia dos Carneiros, where weddings and baptisms are still held, the Church of São Pedro, on Praia das Campas, in addition to the Chapel inside the Santo Inácio de Loyola Fort.

From Forte Santo Inácio, it is possible to see the site of the old bridge and the current nautical carpentry building, which at the end of the 19th century housed the Lazareto Disinfectant, where sick people and immigrants in quarantine disembarked from ships that anchored in the Port of Tamandaré.
